These terms apply to the website almenshades.com and to consultations, estimates and orders provided by Almen Solutions LLC, doing business as Almen Shades ("Almen Shades", "we", "us"). By using this site or requesting our services you agree to them.
Website content
Product descriptions, photos and prices on this site are provided for general information. Prices shown (for example, $150 to $400 per window) are an indicative range that includes product and professional installation; your actual price depends on window size, style, materials and features, and is confirmed only in a written estimate.
Free in-home consultation
The in-home consultation is free and carries no obligation. During the visit we show samples, give advice, take professional measurements and prepare a personalized estimate.
Estimates and orders
- An estimate is valid for the period stated on it and becomes an order when you approve it in writing and pay the deposit.
- Custom window treatments are made to your measurements. Once production starts, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Deposit and payment
- A 30% deposit is required to place an order. Because products are custom made, the deposit is non-refundable.
- The remaining 70% balance is due upon completion of installation.
- We accept cash, Zelle, check, Venmo and bank transfer.
Timelines
Installation is typically completed within 30 to 45 days after order approval, depending on order requirements. Eligible orders may qualify for an expedited timeline. Dates are estimates and may be affected by product availability or circumstances outside our control.
Installation
Professional installation is included in your estimate. You agree to provide reasonable access to the windows on the scheduled date. Any pre-existing condition of walls, frames or windows that affects installation will be discussed with you before work continues.
Limited warranty
Most product categories carry a three-year limited warranty; faux wood blinds carry a two-year limited warranty. Coverage, exclusions and claim procedures are defined in the official Almen Shades warranty document provided with your order, which prevails over any summary on this site.
Service area
We serve Fort Worth and surrounding North Texas communities. We operate as an in-home service and do not have a showroom.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Texas law, our liability for any claim related to a product or installation is limited to the amount you paid for that product or installation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Tarrant County, Texas.
